The Evidence Of Her
My practice revolves around the interplay of shape and colour and the interaction between the abstract and the figurative. Like every artist, I see my practice as a constant reworking of one and the same subject (with the aim of approaching and disclosing it's inner nature). My relationship with the work is tenuous: while I often sketch and plan ahead, I allow the painting to assert its own potential and have the final say in how it should look.
